LE GUIDE D’ENTRETIEN DES PRODUITS COS

SILK
Silk’s lustrous quality comes from the prism‐like structure of its fibres, which reflect light. These low‐density fibres are spun into a lightweight, breathable yarn which can keep you cool in summer and warm in winter.
Silk requires specialist care to maintain its longevity. It should be ventilated between wears where washing can be avoided. When washing, check the care instructions and wash accordingly. A mesh bag can help protect silk garments from snagging or twisting in the machine.
After washing, silk can be laid within a rolled-up towel to absorb excess moisture and hung to air dry, avoiding direct sunlight. Shine and softness can also be restored to older silk garments in a mild white vinegar bath, which helps remove residual soap in the fibres.
