PRECIOUS METALS

Characterised by their lustrous finish, jewellery made from precious metals can last a lifetime if cared for correctly. It is also extremely hardwearing, making it perfect for everyday wear.

To care for metals and increase longevity, avoid wearing jewellery when applying makeup, perfume or hairspray, and when bathing or swimming. Clean gold and silver jewellery with warm soapy water and a soft bristle brush. Dry with a soft cloth and use a polishing cloth to buff or rubbing alcohol to bring back the shine. To store, use an air-tight jewellery case or the original box. Avoid storing jewellery inside leather as this can tarnish the metal.
