PAYMENT METHODS
You can choose to pay using Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay and Google Pay. PayPal and Klarna are also accepted; more information on these can be found below.
All transactions are encrypted for your safety, for more information about card purchases please read our Privacy policy.
Your payment method will not be charged until we have shipped your order. If the card transaction is approved, the amount will be reserved immediately and you will receive an order confirmation to your email. If the credit card transaction is not approved, your order will be cancelled. Please contact your bank or card provider if you have any questions about this.
Please note that we only ship to Canada. The currency used for all orders is Canadian dollar ($). All prices and product information on the COS online shop are subject to change and may vary from stores.

PAY LATER
You can choose to buy now and pay later, depending on eligibility*.
As soon as your order has been confirmed, you will receive information from Klarna on how and when to complete your payment. Should you have any questions regarding your payment, please contact Klarna for information. If you are not eligible, you will only see the Pay Now option at the checkout.
Not paying for your order on time could affect your ability to use Klarna in the future. We encourage you to spend responsibly, remember to keep up with your repayments to avoid late payment fees and damage to your credit report. Pay later is a form of credit, COS is not the lender.
*Klarna's Pay in 4 / Pay in 30 days are unregulated credit agreements. Borrowing more than you can afford or paying late may negatively impact your financial status and ability to obtain credit. You must be 18+ years old and a CA resident. Subject to status. T&C and late fees apply.
*Please note that COS is unable to provide any details of why you are not eligible to pay using our Pay Later option. If you have any questions regarding payment, please contact Klarna customer support.
Apple Pay
Apple Pay is available when shopping on Apple devices and online in Safari.
Before you can use Apple Pay, you must activate it in your Apple account and device.
Making a purchase using Apple Pay:
1. Select Apple Pay as your payment method in checkout.
2. Confirm the payment on your Apple device.
3. You'll be directed to cos.com when your order and payment are completed.
PayPal
Your payment will take just a few steps:
Select PayPal as your payment method at checkout.
You will then be redirected to the PayPal website to proceed with the payment.
If you are already a PayPal customer, you can log in with your user data and confirm the payment. If you are new to PayPal, you can create a PayPal account, and then confirm the payment.
You will be returned to cos.com and your order and payment will have succeeded!
Payment will be taken as soon as your order has been dispatched.

How do automatic payments work?
The debit or credit card you entered in your Klarna account will be charged every other week. Don’t worry, you’ll always be reminded by email before your card gets charged. You can also review your purchases and payment dates by logging into the Klarna app.
Who can use Klarna?
To be eligible to use Klarna, you must:
- Be a resident in Canada
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have a valid card/bank account
- Have a positive credit history
- Be able to receive verification codes via text
Will using Klarna affect my credit score?
No. When you choose Klarna as your payment method, they may perform a soft credit check. This type of check will not impact your credit score or show up as a hard inquiry on your credit report.
Which payment methods are accepted?
Klarna accepts all major debit and credit cards, such as Mastercard, Visa, AMEX, and Discover. Unfortunately, prepaid cards and gift cards are not accepted.
Are there any late fees?
Pay in full and Pay in 4 options are interest-free. There are no late fees when you pay on time. If you choose financing or miss a payment, interest or fees may apply. Check the terms of your payment plan to understand what costs you could incur for missing a payment.
Is Klarna currently accepted in stores?
No. Klarna is only available at cos.com and not yet accepted in our US stores.
What if I return an item or if the order total changes?
If you make a return or if your order total changes for any reason, the payments and refund will be adjusted accordingly. Please note that a minimum spend of $35 is required for split payments.
Is my information safe?
Klarna uses the latest safeguards and security to protect your information and prevent unauthorized purchases. You have zero fraud liability with Klarna’s Buyer Protection policy.
How can I reach a Klarna representative?
Klarna recommends downloading their app to speak to a representative, who will be available at any time. Alternatively, you can reach Klarna’s customer service here.

COS charges the appropriate Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) or local retail sales tax based on the delivery address of your order. Where required, tax will also be applied to the shipping and handling charges.
The sales tax displayed at check-out is estimated and the final applicable tax will be calculated when your order is shipped.
For card purchases we work with an authorized payment agent that helps us to check directly with your bank that the card is valid for purchases. Our payment agent processes your card details in the correct way according to the international security standard PCI DSS, which was developed by the card companies VISA, MasterCard, Diners, American Express and JCB. This means that your card details are processed with a very high level of security. To make card purchases with us as secure as possible all information is sent in encrypted form using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). This means that the information is passed through a secure connection and that your card details cannot be read by external parties.
