MERINO CARE GUIDE
Merino wool doesn’t require washing after every wear as the fibers are naturally antibacterial and odor resistant.
Machine wash according to care instructions on low spin using a mild detergent. Avoid using fabric softener which coats the fibers and makes them less breathable.
Hang merino wool to air dry and reshape while damp. The heat from tumble dryers can cause fibers to shrink. Use a pilling comb or fabric shaver to retain the fabric’s softness.
Help reverse signs of shrinking from older merino wool garments by soaking them in warm water with conditioner, drying and then repeating the process.
