Every piece is meticulously studied to allow for easy layering; the weight, length and sleeve width are adjusted for comfort.
At COS, we believe in investing in the now to design for the future – that’s why we are committed to sourcing quality materials. SUPERIOR QUALITY.
EVERLASTING DESIGN.
CASHMERE BY COS.

THE CREW-NECK CASHMERE JUMPER
A perennial of the women’s cashmere collection, the crew-neck jumper is essential to the modern wardrobe. Designed with an emphasis on simplicity, our signature design is offered in two variations: a regular fit in both brushed and smooth cashmere that’s a lighter option for the transitional months, and a luxuriously soft chunky cashmere version with a more relaxed shape for easy layering.
The classic design is offered in a rich palette of tones, from timeless neutrals to uplifting shades of pink and cherry red that act as an outfit statement.

THE FUNNEL-NECK CASHMERE JUMPER
A true wardrobe cornerstone, the chunky funnel-neck cashmere jumper is an icon of the collection. Relaxed in proportion, it’s revised with thoughtful details – note the cocooning quality of the rounded sleeves and extended ribbed trims which help to maintain its shape. It’s spun from exceptionally soft cashmere with a luxuriously weighty hand feel that’s perfect for colder days.
The collection reintroduces the hero piece in an enduring palette of charcoal, black, deep burgundy and bright cherry red for a powerful shot of colour.

THE CASHMERE CARDIGAN
Notable for its layering potential, the cashmere cardigan can be styled over a crisp white shirt, a simple tee or tank top in the warmer months, or buttoned up on its own for a more evening-adjacent look. This season’s iteration stays true to the classic V-neck design with slightly dropped shoulders for a comfortable fit and coordinating buttons that maintain its polished appearance. An oversized version in a rich merino wool and cashmere blend lends itself to layering, offering warmth on the coldest days of the year.

THE CASHMERE SCARF
Acting as a richly tactile accessory for transitional days, the cashmere scarf is a key proponent of the collection. The season offers two iterations – one crafted from luxuriously soft brushed cashmere in a triangle shape that elegantly drapes like a shawl, the second a ribbed wool-cashmere version in timeless navy, burgundy and beige shades that work in harmony with the winter palette.

THE ART OF CASHMERE
Cashmere is sourced from the goats of the Mongolian Plateau, which have two layers of insulating fleece. The softer layer is combed and gathered in the warmer season and has been spun into yarn for centuries. Warm and cosy, this tactile yarn has an unmistakable softness and a light, springy feel due to the uniquely wavy shape of its fine strands.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF BUYING CASHMERE?
The benefits of cashmere make it an obvious choice for autumn and winter wardrobes. It feels ultra-soft, luxurious and warm during the colder months – but lighter, fine cashmere knitwear can be worn year-round, making it a truly versatile foundation for any season.
HOW TO CARE FOR CASHMERE
The COS team considers cashmere an object of permanence. When properly cared for, it will last beyond many seasons thanks to its enduring quality and timeless sensibility.
HOW TO WASH AND CARE FOR CASHMERE:
Cashmere doesn’t need to be washed every time you wear it, just a few times per season is ideal. Instead, air out your cashmere between wears – it’s better for retaining the quality of clothes.
When you do wash cashmere, handwash or use a specialist detergent on a gentle machine cycle at 30°C or lower. You should also use a low spin setting, as this will help prevent pilling and save energy. During the warmer months when you’re less likely to wear your cashmere pieces often, store them folded in drawers – hanging can alter the shape – and make sure you use mothballs. Pilling occurs naturally and can be easily removed with a pilling comb or fabric shaver.
