My first Cos buy so I ordered two sizes as I didn't know how they would come up .

On the plus side - this dress is made from decent quality fabric, with an interesting textured finish. Importantly, it has deep functional  pockets. It's also a great length. It looks classy enough for a country house wedding, but simple enough to be fine with trainers. 

On the minus side - it pulls on, no zip, so is straight up and down - it has to be big enough at the waist to get your shoulders through.  The 42 is great on my waist and hips, but is tight on the bust (I wear a 36D bra).  

The 44 is too big, but the looseness on the waist and hips looks fine in the style. The extra on the bust though causes the arm holes to gape and has a flattening effect. 

I've kept the 44, but only because I know a good seamstress who can improve the fit.

Sadly it was enormous on me.   Lovely design and good quality heavyweight linen

This dress is lovely - nice fabric and colour. 
Really disappointed though. I found it really tight at the top  which with other outfits I’ve not had that problem.
Unfortunately because I’ve purchased it on sale it’s non refundable.
Won’t be able to wear it. So that was a waste of money.
I did go off with the recommended size - that didn’t help. I guess you have to be careful checking out everything!

Too sloppy on me. Vertical lines don't suit as I'm 6ft tall.,

I wish I could come to the store and try it before I order! Very disappointed with the size and was the final sale!
