They're knitted from gauzy mulberry silk with hints of cashmere for exquisite softness and designed in a seamless, straight-leg silhouette. The fabric is as described and pictured--soft, diaphanous, transparent, a cool, dark brown. Would have been quite lovely under the right dress or shirt, airier and more interesting than leggings. But the cut was way too high in the crotch, like old-style tight pants, and after years of looser styles, that was annoying. No reason to sacrifice comfort anymore. I returned them.
