I sized down a size as the previous comments read that they fall big. I'm glad I did. They fit very comfortably and are a perfect length for  me. I'm 175cm tall or 5ft10 and went for a size 40.

The legs are so wide, and due to being corduroy, they catch on each other and cause a trip hazard. There's no rear pocket for your phone, and a phone sits really awkwardly in the side pockets due to their positioning (more to the front than the side). 
I wonder if COS does any user testing on their products before deciding to produce them, or are only concerned with how they look on the model? Seems the design of a lot of my COS purchases favours form over function lately. They look great when you put them on, but then you try to actually live in them, and that's where they fall over.

Sad as it's one of my favourite brands. :( 

I'm 170cm and 58kg & usually buy a small.

The waist is very high and the legs are so wide that I've tripped up on them a few times. With the fabric being a soft corduroy, the legs tends to stick together causing a trip hazard.

It is however a lovely fabric. My biggest gripe however is that there is no rear pocket for your phone. Due to the position of the front pockets, a phone sits very awkwardly and uncomfortably in them. Perhaps it's just me but I think a rear pocket for your phone should be standard on all trousers?
