Linen is a natural bast fibre derived from flax plants.

The width in the chest could be a little bit bigger, because women with 42 size usually has  breast of bigger than 0 or 1 size. 
And your waistcoat is designed for women who has no breast if we want that it looks like in the picture

This is a beautiful vest. Dressy enough to wear to an event. I am comfortable wearing it without a shirt under to a formal event. I sized up 1 size from my usual COS dress size and glad I did.
