This piece is part of the COS ATELIER capsule, where specialised craft and innovative applications combine to create a refined collection.​​CUT​Taking inspiration from classic 1960s cuts, this mini shift dress has been designed to have a classic round neck the contrasts to the bold sharpness of the straight hem. Completing the clean silhouette is the invisible zip that is subtly incorporated into the centre-back seam. CLOTH ​The little black dress takes on a more risqué form within our capsule ATELIER colection. Split into two panels, the upper is composed of pure mulberry silk that is sheer. The lower portion of the skirt is contrastingly opaque, with a double lining that has been bagged out. CRAFT ​The translucency of the upper panel means that the carefully placed bust darts can be seen to bring linear influences to the piece. Te neckline and zip seams have also been carefully bound using the self-facing cloth. Lower Shell: 77% Viscose, 19% Mulberry silk, 4% Elastane. Upper shell: 100% Mulberry silk. Excluding trims / Dry clean Back length of size AU 8 is 79cm / Model wears a size AU 8
