I bought this item online with another pair of trousers of the same size. Whereas the other one fitted perfectly (and I have bought other pants in this size from COS), this one would not fit. I gave it to a friend as a gift, which pleased me and he loved it, because it is a well-made item, but this does not mean that the pair in question is not small for its stated size.

While all the clothes from COS are stylish and have a great length to them, the sizing for the waist can vary wildly. I typically wear a 34 waist and ordered these as a 36 waist. I was disappointed that they were roughly 2-3 sizes too small. I've ordered other pants from COS that were true to size and others that were wrongly sized, it can be such a cut by cut and piece by piece basis.
