Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) is a transparent thermoplastic known as acrylic, acrylate and acrylic glass. It is usually of fossil origin.

Polyester is a synthetic fibre made from crude oil (a fossil resource).

Iron is a metal chemical element with a grayish colour.

Polyurethane (PU) is a synthetic material made from oil (a fossil resource).
