KNITWEAR CARE GUIDE

Wool doesn’t require washing after every wear as the fibres have a natural protective coating, making them resistant to dirt and dust. Air each garment to ventilate instead. If washing is required, follow these simple steps:

HOW TO WASH KNITWEAR

• Turn your garment inside out to protect the fibers.

• Use the cold hand wash setting or a wool cycle

• Once washed, avoid wringing when drying – gently press and lay flat on a clean towel to dry

HOW TO STOP KNITWEAR PILLING

Avoid wearing the same piece too often. When pills do appear, regular use of a fabric shaver or wool comb helps retain a smooth appearance.

HOW TO WASH MERINO WOOL

Merino wool doesn’t differ greatly from other knitwear in terms of care. Each piece must be turned inside out and washed on a cold hand cycle or wool cycle. Avoid using fabric softener, which coats the fibres and makes them less breathable.

DOES MERINO WOOL SHRINK?

Like all wool, merino can be susceptible to shrinkage. Wash in cool water and air-dry flat to maintain the garment’s original form.

IS MERINO WOOL ITCHY?

Merino wool is celebrated for its exceptional softness, so itching shouldn’t be an issue.
