Terms & Conditions for Customer Rate & Review

By entering a customer review through the Customer Rate and Review service for any of our products, you grant COS, through H&M Hennes & Mauritz GBC AB [556070-1715], hereinafter referred to as 'COS', a non-exclusive, royalty-free worldwide licence to use any of your written reviews in relation to its marketing and/or in its advertising, including without limitation: on the online store, newsletters, catalogues, emails and other customer communications, store materials and other marketing purposes. 

Furthermore, you grant COS the right to review the reviews before they are published. COS will only publish comments that contain relevant information about a product, helping other customers to make informed decisions and get a clearer understanding of the product. To this end, COS will not publish generally inappropriate comments, indecent or inappropriate language or personally identifiable information. COS communicates in the local language(s) for each market. COS reserves the right to remove any customer review at any time, for instance if the comment is found to be in breach of the above, the product has sold out or if the comment is in other ways outdated.

You hereby release and discharge COS from any and all obligation to pay you for any use of your texts and any of the copyrights contained therein in connection with the uses described above. You hereby release, discharge and agree to hold COS and any person acting on COS' behalf harmless from all claims, demands and liabilities whatsoever in connection with use of the customer reviews as described above. COS reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time without prior notice, however the Terms and Conditions that were available to you on cos.com at the time of submitting the review will apply for that review. Please make sure to save a copy of the Terms and Conditions, as we will not store or be able to provide you with previous versions.

Please note that reviews can only be submitted by customers who bought the item and submitted their review via their My Account page, their Order History page or by receiving a 'Rate and Review' email following their purchase. All reviews that are not in breach of our Terms and Conditions are published. Review scores are weighted per median value over the full data of published reviews for the article in the chosen market.
